We started with two clients in 2020 and grew into a full-service team that shapes brands, runs the campaigns that grow them, and builds the platforms they run on. We also own and run nine platforms of our own.

Our story
From a pioneer PR agency to a digital studio.
Communica grew out of a simple belief that great communication is a necessity, not a luxury. When the world moved online, we moved with it, and brought decades of storytelling with us.
1995
Nayomini founds Niche, Sri Lanka’s pioneer PR agency.
1998
Satynmag.com launches, and grows into the country’s leading women’s magazine.
2020
Communica Solutions is founded, starting with two clients during the pivot to digital.

A full-service studio of designers, marketers, and developers, running nine platforms of our own.

Nayomini R Weerasooriya
Founder & Managing Director
Nayomini has spent more than 25 years in marketing communications, journalism, and professional writing. In 1995 she founded Niche, Sri Lanka's pioneer PR agency. In 1998 she launched Satynmag.com, now the country's leading women's magazine. She founded Communica in 2020 to bring design, marketing, and technology under one roof, and leads the work the way she built it: clear, direct, and close to the outcome.
